i guess that mostly has to do with the beauty standards in japan. i feel like the men there prefer that kind of body shape more which is why they always draw them like that. although, that’s not to say that isn’t off-putting since animes oversexualize female characters A LOT. and thats sad if u think abt it bc its def not an accurate representa...... reply
And i hate the fact that (almost) every shounen female character is about falling in love with the mc and their character becomes all about ~I LOVE HIM~ I'M SICK AND TIRED OF THIS.

im aromantic (ye ik ace and aro is diff)but i still love reading wholesome yaoi. the aromanticism is in my part. my choice of entertainment is a different story. it isn't cause i sexualize gay men. it's more like yaoi plots are much more raw...and just great. it's also the closest i can get to feeling romance tbh. the love making is a plus though s...... reply
Why do almost all animes generalize female women has having that snatched waist/rlly thin waist and a c cup+ . Like fr, especially shonen, and I get that its male centered audience or sum but like there exists something called different body shapes.
