Learn Foreign Languages

There's this app called pleco. It's like a really good dictionary of sorts for mandarin Chinese, you can practice characters and a ton of other stuff too. Also if you have no idea where to start, search up HSK 1 study materials, that's a good place to start. (HSK is like the Chinese equivalent of IELTS, there's 6 levels) Good luck try not to foc......   2 reply

Personally love it. I’m on a 2006 day streak and have learned multiple languages. I’m most proficient in French and Italian, and I was even able to save some money by testing out of preliminary language courses for my minor thanks to Duo. i'm "learning" japanese and scottish gaelic (on duolingo so its not that serious) i can speak english, kannada and hindi. i learnt hindi through media immersion at a very young age so i can understand it very well and i can speak in it but im not very confident and my grammar is obviously very bad because i never formally learnt it.   reply

English is my first, Spanish is my second. I'm learning French and German and know a smattering of Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai. I have a definite love of learning other languages.   2 reply
