I like either or, but I absolutely love it when it's like Cherry Blossoms After Winter. Like, when they show the couple getting together and in the beginning it's shounen ai ,but when they mature and have a nice stable relationship it turns into a yaoi, yk?   reply

Shounen Ai: For reading in public. Some shounen ais are really good, but many of them are quite formulaic and predictable. It's a shame because they really have all the means to focus on the plot without worrying about sex scenes. Yaoi: For private reading. TBH there's flaws to both shounen-ai (sometimes feel shoujo-ish) and yaoi (rape/forceful) but I do like a good mix of both. Like there's only so much sex you can read? I think it's because I'm older so I've experienced the world I would like to see some realism in manga. I prefer plot so I tend to notice generally I like yaoi for short reads and sh......   reply
