I think you are overreacting a lot. Obviously people don't think being a fujoshi and "coming out" as one is as harsh as being gay. It's just a figure of speech. Doing something in secret. I'm a straight girl and when i started yaoi, i had no idea it was this popular(and it wasn't THAT popular when i started it) but i hided it even from my closest friends. Haha.Sorry but imo Sexuality and Interest quite similar. For example, I like to collect eyes and for people it's creepy. Then, I said I love to read and for people it's normal.
