bcs ive seen replies that most of the reader get a turn off after reading yaoi which the uke was too feminine.

but yea i kinda agree with the term of ~it was just like hetero having sex but with 2 dicks"

well im aware that there was some gender expressions out there.

Biggest turn off: when one of the characters says they're in love with the other and then sleeps with someone else even though they aren't in an established relationship. (I also hate hate hate cheating). in yaoi, alot of times the romance and love is shown through the characters being physical and having sex, so I find it incredibly contradictory ......   1 reply

I think I was around 11 or 12 when I first saw yaoi.... Funny story is my friend and I were talking about anime and she blurts out Junjo Romantica and starts saying its her favorite thing ever (we're the same age btw) so I'm just like "ok let me go watch it" and let me tell you SHE GOT SUPER PANICKED and says "NO NO NO N E V E R WATCH IT" so *ahe......   1 reply

When they can’t draw a naked ass, we’ve all seen em... the stories where the seme is having sex every time with his pants on. Bad art/off proportions. When the artist can only draw the same facial expression over and over and over.   1 reply

1) When the "uke" is so stereotyped. "I like cooking and cleaning and doing ALL the laundry, Tee hee~" I understand if you wanna make a gender queer character, but, to me, they're not actually portraying a gender-queer character. To me, this is just a way to allow the "seme" to treat his counter-part as a 'stereotypical- woman' so the seme gets a "......   reply

Oooh look, hot MC guy seme is holding hands with gloomy new student uke, they homo? they homo? What what what SO WHAT! Yes theyre homo and in love now s......   reply

Rape literally like 90% of yaoi has it. It’s fucking annoying people needs to stop acting like it’s okay. I tried to read the painter in the night or whatever the hell its called and it had to much rape. I kinda thought it was scary too. And that manga is always trending too - Also if anyone could recommend me a cute romantic yaoi without rape......   2 reply

First manga I read was Hana Kimi. I'm pretty old lol but around the time I started reading this, there were no scanslation sites, AOL dial-up was a thing, manga was limited in the US, and you had to receive the manga files through a download transfer client called IRC or something lol. Good times. Not sure on my first anime. To get technical, some......   reply
