Biggest turn off: when one of the characters says they're in love with the other and then sleeps with someone else even though they aren't in an established relationship. (I also hate hate hate cheating). in yaoi, alot of times the romance and love is shown through the characters being physical and having sex, so I find it incredibly contradictory ...... 1 reply

Rape literally like 90% of yaoi has it. It’s fucking annoying people needs to stop acting like it’s okay. I tried to read the painter in the night or whatever the hell its called and it had to much rape. I kinda thought it was scary too. And that manga is always trending too

First manga I read was Hana Kimi. I'm pretty old lol but around the time I started reading this, there were no scanslation sites, AOL dial-up was a thing, manga was limited in the US, and you had to receive the manga files through a download transfer client called IRC or something lol. Good times.
