My very first anime was InuYasha before I even knew what anime was. When I was about 14 my friend showed me this anime that she really like and that was Shiki (first one I watched knowing what anime was). My first manga I think was Junjou Romantica. reply

1. 3 Gatsu no Lion aka March Comes in Like a Lion
It's probably the most beautifully animated shows this season (and all year) with a sensitive, well-developed story line that does as much showing as telling. Can't enough of it. I like the balance of sobriety and goofy humour.
