We are living in the era of the easily butthurt, which is interesting in the yaoi community because somehow it leads to people being less open minded about their shit.

Literally any yaoi about a grown ass man taking advantage of a minor (even if the grown ass man is the uke) that's romanticized. So basically shotacon/toddlercon, teacher x student, ect. I really can't get behind those not to mention its a little disrespectful to people who have been in these situations. Same goes for incest (especially the father ...... 1 reply
I know it's probably not going to happen, but someday I would like to see a yaoi manga made into a big budget film. And I'm not talking animated; I'm talking live action with well known actors, great sets, and killer special effects. Personally, I would make Crimson Spell into a trilogy of films similar to the LOTR movies.
So...What yaoi manga would you make into a movie if you could?
I have a love hate relationship with yaoi and the two things I hate most are:
1. Yaois that portray rape and abuse as romantic and/or cute
2. The inflexibility of the whole uke/seme concept

I loathe shotacon the most. I can't read this kind of stories. I hate rapes too but, unfortunately, the majority of the relationships in BL start with a rape. So, now, I try to not focus on the rapes to concentrate on the story instead. Because, sometimes, I think the story deserves to be read (like "Viewfinder" or "Hidoku Shinaide").
