Out of curiosity, how old are all of you males who read yaoi and/or shounen-ai? Also, do you think that by reading this genre it has helped you determine your sexual orientation better or made you more unsure? If you are straight, have you ever questioned your sexuality?

Another male here to add to your collection, ive been using this specific site for yaoi/shounen ai stuff only and yeah there is not so much special about me xd like most other people i read yaoi beacuse the romance between two males its cute and stuff hehe.

I'm male too. I read yaoi and yuri, but mostly yaoi because yuri is often nothing but fanservice and I'm not interested in that. I'm bisexual but I can't stand straight romance no matter if it's Anime/Manga or normal books/movies, it's just really boring and annoying. 2 reply
i'm a guy and i've been reading yaoi since...sometime in middle school? i think maybe 1st year, and i'm out of school now so about 8 or 9 years? lmao started reading when i thought i was straight and i really liked yaoi at that time, and then eventually realized i wasn't so straight and also started disliking a lot of yaoi bc how they portray male ...... 2 reply
