Hmm I see where you're coming from. I guess it doesn't help as well that the authors of those types of mangas (HS yaoi) themselves tend to be women aged 25-40? I used to like these mangas a lot when I was in high school which was around 2 years ago. Nowadays I gravitate towards college/workers stories because I relate more.
