But, with western culture now being more inclusive of LGBT+ material, we have watched stuff with these theme, (of course they may show their discomfort at times). As someone who comes from a conservative Christian background, there's no way. Watching or reading yaoi would be very unpleasant with my parents, it'd be extremly uncomfortable and i wouldn't enjoy anything. Additionally, my parents are very religious and homophobic, they'd ban me from watching all kinds of anime, or prabably even disown me(i'm pretty sure they would)
