Early 20s is still learning how to be an adult but still should know better than to break the law

The adult is still consenting to a relationship with a minor. (In this example) The adult is older, knows better and most of all is responsible for protecting kids, even from themselves.

i believe theres nuance to everything but if you're the adult in the situation it's your responsibility to establish boundaries, young people are foolish and irrational. there's no "he/she asked for it" when nothing would have happened if you turned down their feelings reply
