The difference between shounen ai and yaoi is that there is no actual sex shown in shounen ai whereas it is shown in yaoi. In shounen ai, you are shown the before and after sex but not the actual sex. Also, shounen ai translated is boy's love. (Shounen= boy, ai=love). Same as shoujo ai is translated as girl's love.
