I like to think that whatever you truly believes happens when you die happens, not what you WANT to happen but what you believe will happen.
For example: If somebody thinks that they will go to heaven or hell then that happens
Or if somebody thinks reincarnation takes place then they get reincarnated
or even atheists who think nothing happens then ...... reply
Theory : after we die our body stays on earth, which will be absorbed and used as food for the earth. Our brain, still shocked by what happend will try to find an answer about what happend by making us seeing illusions, A.k.a, hell and heaven. It will try to make us think that we are still alive so that we don't go insane.
