hi so i started flute for band i have only been doing it for a year but for me when you need to hit the high notes just like make a smaller hole cause like(im rlly bad at explaining lol) when you play the flute you like make ur mouth like a whole shape so just make a smaller hole. i hoped this help sorry if it was confusing 1 reply
Heyo! I'm a fellow flautist here and I'm also curious to how others can manage to hit the high notes =w= I'm only able to play up to the third octave of G since I'm only Grade 4. Just remove the gender and now we have two humans face to face. If you can't reciprocate his feelings then tell him so.
