I’m a 20 yr female pansexual and I read bl and gl as well as other genres I understand how most of the mangas that are BL don’t give a health or even accurate representation of what a gay relationship is but I read them because I want to see and read something different from a manga of a girl meets boy trope. It’s understandable that BL isn...... 1 reply
"if ur straight dont bother answering"
seems like a lot of the heteros can't read today?
i agree with OP. a lot of y'all are misreading this whole thing lmao. the attitude of straight women who read yaoi in general is gross as fuck let's be real. a lot of them don't bother to actually learn about the rest of the community and only care about fetis...... 2 reply
Lol chill, a lot of hate for fujoshis when there is a lot of them on mangago, so what if someone fatishize about fictional gay men in their head, we live in the society we know whatever is in yaoi doesn’t apply to the real world gays(even if there is minority bitches who does, they are not harming anyone do they?its only in their head, compare ra...... 2 reply

im bi and i read bl but its sometimes uncomfortable to read bc of how misogynistic they're even sometimes they talk of gay people in a negative way.
it pisses me off when they dont dare to use the word gay bc "its disgusting" or sometimes they even have the audacity to say they are not gay/bi they just like that specific character.
and the worst is...... 1 reply

well i started off reading BL when i still didn’t know what my own sexuality was. i’ve realized i’m bi a few years ago, i still read BL for entertainment purposes, many stories have made me happy or cry or something. of course i’ve seen some questionable stories as well. but i think as long as you don’t harm anyone in the process of read...... 2 reply
I’m pan and honestly I read yaoi for the entertainment, I find the stories to interesting and the art amazing. I feel like yaoi and the people who read it are judge way too quickly because of a few disgusting people.( ̄∇ ̄") 1 reply
hi! i'm a bi cis female. i've been reading bl (and gl) since i was about 10 years old, and i think that back then bl (or rather yaoi) was an extreme fetishization of gay males because it was "taboo". there's so much discourse about even reading bl but i think it's the same as reading any other romance manga. of course there are huge flaws in bl man...... reply
