reading bl is so exhausting for a number of reasons (at least for me) and yes it is not a representation of the community itself so it's honestly fucking disgusting when some would equate it to reality. it's also horrifying that individuals who are self-proclaimed homophobic would admit with their whole chest that they fetishize gay men and it makes me sick. plus the underlying misogynistic theme of a lot of bl titles

right off the bat i know i have a lot but can't seem to name them all. naming them all might make m seem like a really picky or idk paranoid?? person so honestly don't hold back and named some of your best pet peeves

some of mine are:
ppl chewing with their mouths open
someone not closing the door after the leave or come in
someone not OPENING the door when they see or notice that I'm right behind them ??
when I reply to someone in seconds and it takes them hours
ppl eating my food or touching my things without permission
someone who always cuts others off and doesn't know rEsPecT
when I'm hanging out with someone outside and they're just glued to their phone
ppl who notify me of change of plans LAST MINUTE
when ppl make self-degrading tags or comments on their own post when we ALL KNOW THEYRE FRIKIN STUNNING AND BEAUTIFUL IN IT????
when groups of ppl take up the entire side of the street. MOVE.
ppl who walk slowly or stop suddenly in the middle of the sidewalk
ppl who cut in lines try to make it seem natural WHEN IT CLEARLY WASNT
ppl who talk over you when you’re clearly still in the middle of the sentence
ppl who walk around and decide that everyone wants to listen to their hard rap music blasting fro their speakers in a public place. NO THANKS I GOT MY OWN MUSIC SIR
PPL WHO DONT SAY THANK YOU. honestly not that hard makes me wanna cry over the littlest things
always annoyed me when I was young but when my parents give my friend a ride and they don't say hello when they get on and thank you when they leave ughhhhh
ppl who say “you should have been there“ when you clearly weren’t there. like I get it thanks for making me feel even more left out
PDA. tbh just hugging or a few smooches is okay but please don't go in on a full make-out session RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME.
