Get To Know You

I recently figured out that I might be demisexual after years of questioning my sexual orientation. I was raised Christian (SDA to be exact) but that didn't stop me from becoming open-minded as I advanced through life. I've only ever had one relationship and that was with a girl back in college. I wasn't attracted to her at first. We became really close friends after an all-night conversation. It was after we became really close to the point where I felt like I could tell her anything, was when I fell in love with her. Long story short, I broke things off with her because I was shoulders deep in Christian guilt. Anyway, I said all this because I feel like this experience best fits under the umbrella of demisexuality. Does anybody else here identify as demisexual? If you do, how long did it take for you to figure it out? (I just figured it out and I'm about to turn 27 lol) What helped you figure it out? etc.
