The saddest mangas i have ever read must have been the Deep Love series. It consists of 6 manga and I think the two saddest are is Deep Love : Pao no monogatari/ ayu no monogatari , becausea big crybaby about dogs(the first one) and a sad semi love story that could never be true is always good(second one) ε: thx for rreading this :3 reply
I watched the anime (i think theirs a manga, not sure) "The promised never land" (btw season 2 coming out 2020 ;o) and it had me full on crying at times. I guess it depends on the person, but it is a bit of a tear-jerker.

The most emotional and best manga I’ve read to date is Pandora Hearts. It’s a slow build up one that builds up its mystery and characters for the first 40-ish chapters but the payoff is well worth the slow beginning and it’s one of the most emotional roller coasters I’ve ever read.
