that's a bit difficult to answer. When I was younger, I was also very very shy. Like shit, I couldn't even answer when someone was asking for my name. I just ignored them. :'D
But now, I am really good at talking and making friends.

I never had a lot of friends and actually, they always came to me first. All my life I've lived far from others mentally, people never approach me, they say I don't look nice, cool or whatever. Even my best friends don't understand why they think that..

Ya, honestly, they are a bit overrated. Don't @ me lol, but I understand that they worked suuper hard to get where they are now, but they aren't anything that great. Of course you can have meaningful friendships of the opposite sex. This is coming from a lesbian female, most of my friends have been men throughout my life. But I also have friends that are female and my relationship with them have been no different. i get you so much. as a fellow girl who'd love to have more guy friends, sadly it isn't simple, easy or long-lasting.
i think the reason why we cant be friends with guys very well, is because you're socially pressured or what not. like "ooh, are they dating?..." blah blah blah, rumors, or like "guys are girls cant be friends without it being roman...... 1 reply
