Get To Know You

I was thinking back to alot of my male mates Ive had and I started realising that alough I have had more guy mates than girls, they were either not as close as initially thought or that alot of them never seemed to last that long. This being due to us losing touch, crushes or complications from relationships with each other or others.
In the end I have stuck with more of my gf as the years have gone by and had stronger/longer bonds with them.

As I once held such a strong view on this idea of u can have real male friends to the point I never thought I would have proper friends with girl(s), i wondered if other ppl agree with that u can have a true friendship with the opposite gender, or if their opinion has changed over time, or if it just a matter of who u meet ect...

This is speaking as a straight female just to give the idea of the perspective as to some of it I have said btw

Description: childhood friends, historical vibe, one of the protagonist moves away and goes to study overseas and eventually comes back, main male protagonist seems interested in secondary male protagonist, main protagonist gives secondary protagonist a flower pin, secondary protagonist gets mistaken as a girl and dances with a kimono and teaches young girls traditional dance later on, secondary protagonist cuts hair because he saw main protagonist with a girl and got jealous/ envious and when they are older they meet again and try clear up misunderstandings about the past. Last chapter I read included a scene where secondary protagonist dance group was going to perform, however, one of the little girls pin gets destroyed and the secondary protagonist lets her borrow the flower pin that the main protagonist gave him when they were younger. Main protagonist sees it and asked the little girl where she got and she said that it belong to the teacher and it was like a good luck charm or an important gift from someone special. I know how they kinda look like main protagonist has black short hair and secondary protagonist has like a bob haircut.
