It’s actually true and I’m not from Alabama my cousin and my niece are married and my mom and dad are cousins and my half sister is my moms cousin
To explain it my grandpa has 3 daughters let’s name them aunt 1 2 and 3 aunt 1 is my mom aunt 2 gave birth to my cousin lets name him jack aunt 3 gave birth to my cousin lets name her sandy sandy’s oldest daughter fell in love and married jack there about the same age he maybe is 1 or 2 years older ok and my moms mom and my dads mom are half sisters cuz they have the same dad not the same mom tho and how my half sister is my cousin has something to do with her mom being my grandmas distant cousin ok that’s it
