I've never been in a relationship besides those in RPs but what I can say is that the greatest perk of being single is freedom. You can do whatever the heck you want without boundaries (unless it's something involving your family lol).

No commitment or jealousy and not needing someone else's approval in terms of my looks or my behaviour, also my money is miiinee lol don't have to share it with anyone.
Honestly the only things I miss are probably sex and cuddles but is not like I can't live without those. As for intimacy I think I can have those with my closest friends. reply
No one to judge me for my anime and manga preferences. And time, time is the best. But mostly no one to judge, because who wants to have an interest and be judged for it. Honestly, that sounds like the worst. Unless I find someone who either doesn't care or loves the same things I do. Then I wouldn't be a single pringle no more. 2 reply
Unlimited time, not getting hurt, no misunderstanding, enjoy seeing anyone - no commitment, enjoy being alone and my loneliness when i feel lonely lol whatever, no worries to get friendly with anyone, one word... Free

Actually having time is a great perk, I believe. As I tend to be a very busy human being, I cannot imagine having a lover to take care of as well. I'd literally collapse from overwork I believe, haha. Furthermore, you're free to make your own decisions. "Oh, I feel like changing the interior/furniture, whatever. More than having time for yourself, you can actually focus on yourself more, like improving your skills, enforcing your mental and physical health, achieve your goals. It is nice to have someone with you, but when you have friends that is enough if you aren't in a relationship.
