No, no. You're right.
Have you ever seen HxH, OP? I also speak like four languages (colonized country blah blah blah) and the entire concept of Nen genuinely fried my brain for a bit. I was also like, a kid when I watched it so like??? Okay man. Whatever you say bro. And HxH is one of the BETTER ones

I feel like maybe with novel you can imagine it however you like, and with how you try to visualize it, it helps you understand things better. But manga already has visualization so it kinda restrict(?) your imagination and while you may think "Ohhh I get it!" for a moment, the next second you realize you didn't understand it at all. reply
Also if someone says "Literacy rates are falling blah blah blah" then i beg pardon for not understanding a complex system written in my 3rd language. I don't have this problem with light novels, its only with the mangas and animes. reply
I don't understand some of the shit when authors describe how the power was generated, why it worked, in what conditions it wouldn't work, why it was an exception, how the protagonist's 7th blood cell helped accelerate it, etc etc in the manga, or even in the anime. I'm just like 'Yeah yeah, yada yada, kaboom' , like the MC swung his sword and boom. They pushed him too hard, kaboom. Don't slime me for this
Especially when they use it on a character who's been a victim of rape or some other weird shit... like yasss queen, let's shame the victim instead of blaming the perpetrator.

I've literally never seen the word bird but I've seen like 5 people complaining about others using the word bird like what the fuck even is bird, is this a social media thing? 3 reply
Can you people stop saying “bird” if you don’t know what it means? When an uke does something you don’t like regardless of the reason you call them “bird” it’s so cringe. It’s also AAVE. You just look dumb and corny. I’m saying this as a black person…Just use your white words or something reply
