At most you should ask your friend why he specifically chose the word trap over crossdresser or female impersonator or that he prefers to dress in feminine clothing. to start off, please stop using the word "trap," believe it or not it's actually bad for trans people since "traps" are often viewed as comedy relief in media so we, as much as possible, avoid that term (won't be elaborating much on this since you pretty get the gist of what i'm saying).

first of all he probably shouldn't use the term "trap" I was in a group at FB and if someone used the word trap at least five people said it was a bad term because it suggests that a male person which wear women clothes traps someone or something like that (I was to afraid of them to ask more)

oohhh i get what you mean. i used to be confused with how to act or deal with trans people bc i dont understand and people i asked dont explain. from my experience, research. i researched a lot! and i realized that not all trans are what i imagined them to be and most are pretty wholesome uwu.
