My mom always told me, (if you’re not that lucky with your love life) girls, it is better to be with someone who love you, than be with someone you love.

This seems to be the mentality especially when you came from an Asian household. I'm curious if you agree or disagree on this. I'm curious how my fellow Asians and other ethnicities think about about this.
I legit wonder if you have every asked her that question. "Like mom, why do you want me to be a lesbian so bad?" If you ever do, let us know her reply lol. Maybe instead of saying "No I'm not a lesbian" just play with her and say something like "Ok if you so desperately want me to be" and see her reaction. People's reactions can say a lot.
