it's just a shortend version of my mother's name (lillian -> lilly) and I used to use it to name literally everything after her death. I only recently started using my own name on social media, though the name lilly kinda grew on me and I am still not used to being called my real name online, so I sometimes delete my name again and use Lilly.   1 reply
