It depends on if it manga style or fine art, but I'm guessing if it's the latter, it's important to do studies from real life, whereas if it's the former, firstly it's not as important, cuz manga-speaking there's less of it (lineart and detail are more important), and shape of the shadow is important, it should in general follow the flow and curvat......   reply

I have this love/hate relationship with drawing but I do enjoy it. It's the only thing I consider myself good at doing aside from lazing around all day.
