It's funny, i asked the same question some time back and the answer i was given was keep practicing carry a sketchbook with you and draw every day(without fail if possible) anything that catches your eye preferably using a fountain pen, a dip pen in ink is even better. That trains you to learn to pick out the most important parts of an image first ...... 1 reply

Yes! I draw on and off, mostly off when I get tired of it or artblock. Learned myself with the help of tutorials and a mannequin (sits on my dresser now unused for years) that have pleased my improve from when I was 13. I always try to get better but end up falling back into a funk when things don't come out right.

I love it. Would marry it. The passion of my life. But when I got em artblock, oh well my dear friends, I would cry in the corner and tell myself I would never touch my pencil to draw anymore.
So yeah, like all those relationships, It's more like a love-hate relationship.
