So I just did a quick research because I remember in a few mangas they said having a relationships with a teen is illegal... Meaning that there must be an actual law about it.
And that's the case! The age of consent is actually not 13 in Japan
Though the idea that it’s okay when it’s “a sincere, romantic relationship” is still WEIRD
