Petition To Remove My Brother

So i get that people aren't gonna be good with english and their grammar since english isn't their first language (english isn't my first language either) but why do they always add an 'e' to words like "dating" or "forcing"?
I saw someone spell these words like "dateing" or "forceing"
Is it because the singular version of these words have an 'e' like "date" and "force" or what? /gen /lh
