I personally call them MC and ML. I struggle with remembering names, I read so many stories at the same time that it’s basically impossible. However, I also don’t mind when people say top or bottom, it doesn’t matter. It’s just a fictional story. reply

A lot of bls are usually japanese or Korean so using seme/uke is understandable because some east asian names are difficult to pronounce or spell. And seme and uke is literally means top or bottom plus the stories are fiction. kinda but it's a good way to tell if the reader reads for smut or story. usually people who obsess over who is top/bottom is just there for the porn and not much else.
