I do think there are definitely aspects that are considered as fetishizing gay men in the BL gender, for example overly feminine guys always being the bottom, and aggressive overly masculine as tops.

Absolutely do not support the genre. It was created for problematic reasons, got popular for problematic reasons, and most (non-mlm) people read it for either problematic or just flat out ignorant reasons.

First, people obsess over yaoi, and yet they don't support MLM. Second, I find it okay for people to read yaoi but just stop putting it before every god damn thing. I read BL SL and GL, and I also read things that have nothing to do with romance. I have read a lot of BL, GL, and SL and I can say that BL always has something a more interesting plot....... reply
I saw someone saying " ik its wrong to read yaoi but being gay is also wrong(im not homophobic)'".Honestly it just made me so mad cuz do straight ppl think that we just wake up and be like "u know what imma be a minority and love the same gender and prob get some hate one in awhile cuz why not" like no its not smt u choose who ur attracted to.
