Wild card harems and if MC's main purpose in life is to "get the girl". I get that it can be "relatable" but I am in no mood in reading about a side character with 0 characteristics (besides being your typical Mary Sue -- pretty and nice, etc) and having it being the main propelling reason for the MC's character development. if a manga doesn't catch my interest within 10 pages of starting i usually won't continue. Other things include no chemistry in pairings, bad writing, and when assholes don't get what they deserve   reply

Not much will make me drop a series. But if the translation is just so awful that i spend 10 mins going WTF is this crap or the story just really sucks. I mean I will usually stick around even if it does suck but when I stop reading after 2 or 3 chapters pretty much means my dog coulda done better.   1 reply
