She is 11 years old so I definetly think you should confront her about this and help her distinguish what kind of yaois are ok to read and which aren't (atleast until she is old enough to make her own decisions).

oh no she's that young? you should talk to her. I also have a sister and she's 12 years old. I understand how you feel. My sister's into yaoi too but luckily she's not reading bl stuff. She's only shipping haikyuu characters and stuffs like that. Please talk to your sister or something like educate her so that it won't lead to something problematic...... reply
Okay so here’s my two cents. I always believe that kids should start learning about sex education at a younger age. And I feel like that this would be a good educational opportunity. Instead of banning her from the genre I think you should just educated her on being careful on the internet and being safe when reading cuz you know there are creeps...... reply
I really think you should talk to her. Some of the stuff here can skew her thoughts. Things like romanticized rape. I doubt she'll stop, she's found something she's never seen before it's like a kid with a new toy. But, you can talk to her and explain why certain topics are bad and maybe try to steer her to manga that aren't so explicit or to talk ...... reply

Definitely talk to her. Not only is it pretty pronographic, it also depicts a lot of toxic relationships. If you’re mature enough you can see past that stuff and separate fiction from reality, but she’s too young. 1 reply
