I personally enjoy reading any yaoi as long as it isn’t creepy (incest, for example) aside from all the sex scenes in the yaoi I’ve read, I enjoy watching their relationships develop because it’s so wholesome for me^^

Its the same even with the het stories that fall under smut categories yaoi is essentially the gay version of it . In both genres There are those only few gems that have healthy concensual relationships and or great plot . Its just that there a lot of low quality ones plotwise. I can’t for the life of me find or remember the name of a manga I’m looking for that I read a while back. It’s a school life shoujo type manga, with a tsundere type female lead and a plain faced, silent, and oblivious male lead. It’s a slow burn and from the start of the manga the girl likes the boy very obviously. The male lead has a large yankee looking friend that is very gentle and sweet and helps the girl.
I think it’s completed, with the male lead becoming a teacher?
