korean webtoons all the way! don't get me wrong, i've found a lot of great detail and storytelling in japanese manga. but i feel like there's simply so much MORE in korean webtoons, like more creative stories, realistic characters and better relationships. + webtoons have faster and better translations.

i dont have anything i particularly like or dislike abt them, it's more abt how they're written. like i hate when ukes are doormats that everyone walks over, or when they're only sex objects lmao. like author, not all bottoms r losers who don't know how to stand up for themselves :")

I dislike the name and all of its connotations. One of the many things I don't like about yaoi is the rigid gender roles (or in this case, sex roles). It would be nice if bottoms were 3-dimensional enough to have character traits more memorable than the fact that they're the ones getting fucked, but so many of them have personalities that are essen...... 2 reply
i like bara ukes or when they’re bigger than the seme in general. also older ukes are pretty good. tho many ppl don’t like bara and older or age gap couples i find them kinda iconic. i don’t really not like anything about ukes. i don’t like omega verse fr fr. i mean i’ve read tons of omega verse on wattpad and AO3 and it’s a lil too mu...... reply
