Read Manga

Honestly, it depends on the genre. I've really liked the recent BL webtoons that've been uploaded these past couple years, but if i'm being honest, a lot of them have way too much drama. I find a lot of smutty manhuas that straight up disgust me from how dumb the characters and the plot are (h mate) but i've occasionally come across some amazing ma......   1 reply

I prefer manga. Korean yuri webtoons are too edgy compared to Japanese manga imo. Obviously there are some good ones I like but as a whole, I prefer manga.   reply

I like manga better, overall. I've only found a handful of webtoons that I've liked. The premises of webtoons I've read have been at extremes of a spectrum, where the protagonist is either very generic and boring with a very generic and boring love interest, or he's a doormat wrapped up in some abusive psychological warfare with the love interest. ......   1 reply

Same, actually. I love manga, but when lately I have been preferring webtoons since, as you said, feel more mature and have more depth in a way. They are also generally a lot longer, so it gives a lot of room for the characters to develop more, or to just see more of them. All in all, I still always read manga. both!, webtoon makes me feel im reading something more up to date because all the colors and the reading experience is niiiiiiiiiice, while manga needs to one up there story to keep me interested because its black and white, and its just AMAZING every if its not a large "one up" from average its cool!   reply

Bothヾ(☆▽☆) webtoon make you feel like watching anime (bc of color)and had simple stories and art style with comedy. the character are mature and cute It's fun reading it, the beginnings should start with webtoon.
