The feels are real and the hearts so weak. What was the last manga that made you cry and sob and be all broken inside?

For me, Koe no Katachi/A Silent Voice caught me deeply, and maybe orange or Shonen Note... but actually, the last time I REALLY cried my heart out was while I was finishing Oyasumi Punpun.

Do you prefer Japanese manga or Korean webtoons?
I personally started got into BL because of Japanese manga but as I grow older, I'm starting to prefer Korean Webtoons The characters are usually more mature and the setting is more realistic, the Seme usually doesn't try to rape the uke, the characters feel like real people and it's often funny in a natural way. The series usually lasts for a longer time compared to manga which tends to be shorter.I enjoy the full color and a major reason is that I know Korean so I can enjoy webtoons in the original language without having to wait for translation.

I like Netflix. A lot. And their originals, but lately they're been making me extremely uncomfortable with all the gay things they put into their 2018 and up shows. This usually wouldn't be a problem IF I didn't only watch shows that young children would watch. Thinking about it that way makes it much more uncomfortable for me. As of recently, i was generally fine with it as i was there for the story. However, with the 5 season of one of my favorite shows, She-ra and the princesses of power, it gave me the feeling that Netflix no longer has the intention of pushing out straight relationships anymore. Firstly, there are officially 3 homosexual relationships in the show, along with a genderless character. There are 2 straight relationships, however there wasn't a lot of clarity whether the characters were actually in a relationship. They did say 'I love you', but that word was overly used over the course of the season, mainly between friends. Unlike the gay relationships, there wasn't any kissing or loving looks. 2 of my favorite characters were one of the straight relationships who weren't given any of the kisses and such the gay relationships did. Which is kinda disappointing as a straight person, because i was hoping for the kiss between them the most. Along with the 2nd straight couple, because there wasn't even any confirmation the female liked the male back. And honestly i still haven't found out whether they're in a relationship now. I've told a couple of people about this, but they're gay and they say Netflix is doing it to represent the gay community. But with the release of that season, i feel like Netflix needs to take a chill-pill back with all the gay representation. Im sure im not the only person that feels uncomfortable with all the gay things major companies are constantly pushing out onto the minds of children. However, i have no one to talk to since it seems like nowadays every person is simply okay with this. So i want to talk to people who actually understand me. And if you don't, thats okay.

Seriously though, stop sharing this site on social media like ig, fb, or even redd1t. It’s much better if your give them the original source of the manga or webtoon, or if it’s really unavoidable, tell them this site privately. Don’t forget that this site isn’t really legal and a lot of authors don’t really get the credit they deserve by reading here (but they do sometimes if readers are willing to really support them and pay for their work so the latter isn’t really always true). For me, it was three years ago, when I was 17. You must know that I'm 100% asian but I live in Belgium since 5. I have a typical asian name difficult to pronounce and write by others so I always have difficulty to introduce myself. and people around me call me by my nickname even my teachers! There are few people, close to me, who choose to call me by my full name cause they know it makes me happy. And one day, I was in class, sat behind my crush, he turned around and we talked (we were pretty close) and suddenly he changed topic and said "you know I like your name, I find it so pretty, I will name my daugther like that" ! .... two days later, he and one of my friend announced me they like each other..

I still remember what he said and it still makes happy. It's a good memory for me :) and you ?? have any story to tell me ? (●'◡'●)ﾉ

To start off, there is no problem with anyone reading these things. Yaoi and BL mangas and manhwas can tell great stories while showing representation of a historically marginalized group. However, I do have a problem with the fetishization and normalization of certain stereotypes of gay people. Along with the normalization of minors being exposed to graphic/inappropriate content. Both of these issues are very much present on this website and I want to know if people know and understand this. Seme/uke and top/bottom are regularly used in lists, thus simplifying characters to sex objects, along with some harmful gender stereotypes. The ukes and bottoms in these stories act in, what is consider traditionally, feminine ways. Mainly by being submissive, nice, quiet, etc. Semes and tops are view in more traditional masculine roles. Additionally, some of you guys are too young to be reading certain mangas and manhwas. It is not normal for a 13 year old to have a kink or a fetish already and to have read and seen stories with intense sexual content. For instance, Killing Stalking is not something that you should have read at 12 years old. This also goes to anime watchers too, Junjou Romantica and Love Stage are problematic but made for mature viewers not 11 year olds. Overall, do people know how bad sexualizing gay people and being exposed to graphic and inappropriate content can be? Are a majority of people here normal and understand how problematic some users questions, answers, and list can be? umm so I’m currently homeless.. I’m sleeping in my car and I don’t know what to do?? I told my mom that I dropped out of school, and she didn’t believe me until my school contacted her so now my mom kicked me out. But honestly I need somewhere to poop and all the stores are closed so where do I go? I called my friend Ashley she said that she doesn’t want to deal with me and my gross ass. I called my other friend Linsey she laughed at me and said that I’m on my own. I called my boyfriend Dan but he broke up with me when he heard I was homeless and dropped out of school. All my other friends are either on vacation, busy, or pregnant. So like the only places I can think of now to stay over are my uncle’s or my weird friend. but idk my uncle looks like a rapist or serial killer. Or should I just chance it with my other friend?
