The summary is usually for their own reminder I believe. Since when they go under their own read or have read page theyll be reminded of what the plot was. 1 reply
WHY DO PEOPLE POST SUMMARIES IN THE COMMENTS? I often see people post summaries of the manga in comments and wonder "...why?" Everytime, sometimes multiple people mass post the same exact thing. Is there a reason for this or is it just random?
