I think the most important thing to me is the art style tbh. All time favorite things in a yaoi are reversible roles, something that makes it a bit spicier (like a taboo trope ((Like a priest and a demon getting it on or sibling incest), plot points or character traits that genuinely surprise me, bottoms that are really into it and are not shy. reply

I only eead yaoi on my phone or tablet and my mom just thinks I'm texting friends or on facebook or something. Since my childhood my mom has read erotica practically daily, which I've always found disturbing, and I'm an adult now so she can't really judge me. reply
That's indeed stupid to say that an Anime is boring just by watching only a clip, or an episode of it... I'm always okay with either reading a Manga or watching an Anime (though I mostly read manga) as long as the story is able to captivate me~ reply
From my own point of view, looking in detail into the manga is really important. I just can't read a manga that has some sort of something that I don't like. For example, most of the manga I read is yaoi, and I HATE, like really hate with all my heart the characters that look like girls with penises, I like my men to look like men, even if they are...... reply
