yes most people i know know that i read yaoi (even tho i'm male) some of my family knows and my bf knows. And i was with my step dad and got the first and second manga of ten count and he knew what it was about......we were in the story and he picked up a yuri manga and said "Damn there not fucking" and i was dead lmao. reply

All of my friends knows that i’m a fujoshi, i even introduced them to yaoi mangas and made few of them fujoshis like me. umm but for my family i think they do?! I think it’s too obvious for them. nobody knows about it. Even if I told my family and/or my friends they wouldn't know what it is, and it would be super embarrassing to explain. but I also don't know anybody besides my male classmates anybody who watches anime or reads manga, so... I'm pretty much keeping it a secret that I'm an otaku, although I really want to share it with people...... 1 reply
My friends know that I do read yaoi, and I even have peers that also read yaoi. People around me are pretty much ok with it (even though I sometimes go as far as read it in public haha). As for family, only my sister knows it. My parents definitely don't (afaik, at least). 1 reply
