this is a fair argument. personally, i don't mind rape scenes in yaoi, since we all know that this is just a fiction, and if you don't mix fiction into reality then there won't be any argument in there. i guess for me, to those readers who hates those types of plots in a yaoi (or in any other genre) it's better if you don't just start reading it i...... reply

I think the reason for most of these (other than queer fetishizing) is that when you have a main character that's relatable, the scenario becomes a fantasy for the reader subconsciously, making it seem as if the reader is saying "I don't mind this getting done to me".

For me, I have a thing with rape fantasies so I don’t mind if the seme or other mob characters are the one raping the uke. I never ever think of a real life victim’s story as ‘hot’. For fiction, it just hits me differently.
