Homegirl dug her grave with that wording. Having a preference is absolutely fine, but calling GL "forced and unnatural" is just weird. Preferring BL over GL is not inherently homophobic, but finding one more "gross" than the other definitely stems from homophobia itself. reply
i feel like i've seen people on here say the opposite -- that they enjoy GL but not BL because most of BL "uses the same tropes" "only has s/a" "is boring and forced" etc etc, which is a broad generalization and i feel like i never see the same kind of discussions being had about that. but yet it's still a valid opinion and preference.

liking BL/GL or not is not at all indicative of being homophobic/not homophobic. it's just stories. it's not representative of real-life same-sex relationships or people, and what actually matters is how real people are treated. reply
