Hon just do whatever you feel is best at the time. As others have said, while you have every right to be "out and proud", there are plenty of others (myself included) who are openly gay in that we'll answer when asked but otherwise don't seem like it based on the way we speak/dress/act. Being open doesn't mean turning yourself into a highway billboard, and it never has. The idea that you can only either be "loud and proud" or in the closet is a completely false choice.
