Hate Myself

I see a lot of people on this website talking about the fact that they never dated anyone and think that it's weird. I want to share with you my experience (to explain the title) and to help some of you.

I was in 10th grade, I had never gone out with someone. Then I came to talk with a classmate by SMS and via discord. We were getting along pretty well and we started to talk every day during vacation. I knew he had a crush bc he told me himself that he had a crush on a girl since a few years. At this moment I was a bit interested in that boy. During our talk he often mentioned that he was planning to come see me and I was a bit disturbed bc I didn't understand why he wanted to do that so much. We ONLY talked 2 weeks I didn't expect anything. The moment came and we chatted for a bit, then he said out of nowhere if I wanted to go out with him, and you know what? I said yes. Not bc I liked him, but bc I had the same mentality as people of my age. Back home, I "broke up" with him and I discovered he just wanted someone to go out with bc like everyone else he though going out with someone will make him happy like our dear society tell us everyday. "So if you want to be happy you have to go out with someone" but no, your problems won't go away this way. A relationship isn't a magic drug, it's something you have to build with a special someone. But don't worry, love will come, maybe later than other's but it will, however don't rush things, it could in the contrary make you sad, time is your friend.
