You start off slowly. You make casual conversation with cashiers, treat them like humans. You are extra nice to waiters, treat them like humans. And so on.
Trust me. I used to be pretty anti social and now deeply regret It because I became very lonely. So I slowly started to try to change.

bad advice but if u start thinking everyone in the room is inferior to you it gets really easy to talk and showur personality but u just cant let the fact ur thinking of them as inferior to you slip out ur mouth reply
It's easy to socialize once you realize everyone around you is just as socially anxious as you.
On real note though, just be curious and ask the other person questions. Listen too and react to what they're saying. Like what people love is attention, take that as an advantage if you wanna socialize. Eventually they'll lower their guard and start do...... reply
Go on a trip. Surrounded by strangers who are VERY different from u, you become less conscious of everything and build confidence in craxy ways. I was lonely as hell and didn't have a single friend last year. I woukd stutter and not know whay I should say next, focus too much on being interesting enough to talk to and mess it up. Like I'm so bad at socializing and keeping up with friendships it's crazy like there's only one person I've been consistent with but for others it's like one day I'm close to them but the other, I'm distant. Also there's this person who joined my class last year who's gotten closer to one of my close friends and now we're talking less and it just makes me think like why can't I keep up??

If youre in school you should join clubs you're interested in,
or if your family is religious some churches/ religious organizations basically have clubs where you can interact with others of similar demographic.
If those aren't available... dare I say maybe a job? Anything simple that helps you learn how to work with others and ...... reply
