It depends on you, if you want friends with the same interests as you just share what you like. I did and now all anime and manga-loving people irl come to me to chat and it's fun, we share info on websites, we give each other recommandatons on anime to watch and where to buy merch. as a person who likes anime so much, i tend to show it from time to time but it depends on the people i share it to. i may show it in a subtle way but i will never deny that i like anime just because others don't like it. i think you'll be fine showing that you like anime because it's what you love and no one should judge you for it but i think it ...... reply
From my experience,, its pretty much hard for a person to hide their likes and interest especially if they have grown to love it throughout their life. Most people don't really have the same interest in anime as much as we, otaku's do, so in times of talking to those people yall just have to keep it in a bear minimun in talking about anime.

You don't have to hide it just don't make it your identity, it's an interest not a lifestyle. You'll find as you get older that there a lot of people from different walks of life that actually like anime, they're just not weird about it. 1 reply
