I'm 100% using this question to vent because there are to many things I'm tired of in this tropey genre but I would aboslutely love to hear other vents aswell.
1. When the uke is raped, saved by the seme, and the rapist is (RIGHTFULLY) commended and scorned for his actions but then in the SAME manga the seme will repeatedly rape the uke and faces absolutely NOTHING and it's just completely forgotten about. and it's just like, "Don't worry darling :), I won't let any bastard scumbag treat you the way same way I treat you" 2. When the uke APOLOGIZES after being raped by the seme like it's completely his fault and this is played 100% straight and not problematic in the least 3. Unrelated but when the seme goes "Hmm... things have just gotten interesting >:)" because I can't imagine a person in real life saying this line out loud and it not being cringe. Bonus points if it's to some completely mundane, normal reaction like being flustered when your personal space is invaded.

I can’t stand love triangles/second leads. A love rival’s purpose is only to push the main couple and is forgotten afterwards. I hate it. They deserve better.
Overly violent tsundere characters who lash out to nice people because being angry or “embarrassed” is their entire personality, even when they’re already in a relationship.

i absolutely hate the romanticization of rape and ive dropped so many manga already because i have zero tolerance for that. also romanticization of possessiveness which is really harmful to younger readers because they might think that this is romantic when it's actually toxic.
