Incest in Mangas
I always feel very uncomfortable reading mangas (or any type of literature) with incest relationships on it. No matter how good the story, and art was, even it it's just a hint, my brain will automatically split into stop-or-continue mode. If the incest was confirmed, I'll close that tab right away. I know it's not just me, so raise your hand if you are with me.
I actually quite like it, particularly brotherxbrother. I always liked incest stories for some reason, though I can't really see myself in that position. I can separate the two from reality and that's what makes it easier to stomach. I don't even really have a problem with it in real life if other people choose to live that way. I don't mind, I don't have any prejudice against it, reality or fiction. Though I find it kinda bad between parent x child, is fine between sibligns or other close relatives (of any gender).
Well, as long as they don't want their own biological kid. Because genetics, you know. That's a more serious matter.

i don't like it, ig I'm somewhat fine with cousins but that's as far I will go. literally read one where the ml is mc father and she sleeps with both of her brothers and her ex., and I dropped that shit so fucking fast!! I made me pissed cause the art was 10/10!! It makes me unconfutable since I have younger and older siblings myself so reading one...... reply
I don't like it, though I can tolerate cousins or step-siblings. I won't read anything with an age gap (e.g. uncle/step-father/whathaveyou) or power inbalance because there are too many real world cases of abuse in those situations and I can't separate them from the fiction. 2 reply
If its about brother x sister relationship I can still bear with it since I'm the only child in my family so I wouldn't feel bad about it. But if its about parents and their son or daughter I cant stand it since god knows I couldn't help but start imagining things and throw up later 1 reply
In manga/fic it's something I actually look for. Because for me the incest angle hits the 'love beyond anyone's understanding button'. The same way knotting fic hits the 'size!kink' button. Both appeal to my inner drama queen. When I read incest manga I'm not thinking 'oh this guy is using his relationship with his brother to gain sexual gratificat...... reply
