How do you think your parents would react if they found out that you read yaoi?
My dad will probably be indifferent. He would just ignore it because he'll probably feel embarassed to talk about it and my mom will probably say "eww" and just go about her way but then she'll tease me about it all the time. I can imagine her saying "stop bugging me and go watch two guys making out or something" Both my parents are far from serious so..
They'd probably think I'm gay and request me not to bring a son-in-law home. I suppose they'd monitor my internet browsing as well.
In all honesty, I'd do everything in my power to ensure that they never discover my love for yaoi, as long as I'm living with them. reply

My dad knows that and I even talk about some stuff that I am reading with him. He also sees backgrounds or stuff and is just like "aha, 'key".
My dads cool with stuff like that, he accepts me being trans and gay without hesitating, so. reply
Tbh my dad would just laugh like crazy and go like 'seriously tho what the hell' and probably go on and joke abt it when im around. my mom would probably be a little upset since shes more religious than me, my dad, & my bro but i doubt she'll smash my laptop or anything close to that (hopefully ;-;). My mom would scold me and probably would question my sexuallity lol, with my dad I don't know maybe he would just be surprised and would feel awkward towards me for a couple of days.
But in the end I think they would forget about it, and just accept it , even though it might take a while for they to do so. reply
My parents know that I read Shounen Ai stuff, my mom's even read a few shounen ai mangas I showed her. my dad just doesn't really care, I don't make a point of talking about it much with him around. I'm from a single parent home along with my Nana. My mom knows and has no issue with it. I have yaoi smut as both my lock screen and screen saver on most of my devices. She doesn't care.
